Manual Machinist – $22
Our Hamilton client is looking for a Manual Machinist to join their team. This is a well-established custom machine job that offers stability, longevity and a positive work environment.
Must have at least 5 years of experience as a seasoned general machinist. Preference will be given to those licensed with both boring and lathe experience. Mechanical ability to interpret blueprints, plan projects and machine parts within tight tolerances. CNC programming or setup experience is a definite asset.
Job Duties:
* Reading blueprints and/or CAD drawings
* Full machine setups and tool changing
* Working on manual boring mills and lathes
* Machining custom projects and working within a thou tolerance
* Using precision measuring tools to verify accuracy
Pay: $22 - $25/hr. to start
Hours: Straight days with Overtime Available
