Goodrich Power Transmission systems has three openings for a Manual Module Tech whose responsibilities include machining production parts per process book and drawing specifications per established quality and production standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
*Obtain necessary stock, fixtures, tooling and gauging
*Sets up manual machines for other classifications to operate
*Sets up and operates manual machines necessary to produce module parts. For example (not all inclusive): Lathes, grinders, drills, radial drill, presses, saws, tool/cutter grinding equipment
*Operates N/C equipment
*Performs duties of Machinist (Jig Bore)
*Performs duties of External Grinder
*Performs in-process inspection as certified operator
*Performs CMM, Rockwell, etc.
*May be assigned to support functions such as: Deburr, Tumble, Part Mark, Cutter Grind
*Performs computer transactions
*Moves parts to, from, within module
*Cleans machines
*General Housekeeping
*Provides direction to Machining Module Support Tech
*Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably technical school background, and demonstration of basic educational competencies
*Must be available to train on 1st shift and work on 2nd or 3rd shift after training is complete
*Blueprint and routing reading and comprehension
*Competent with hand tools and experienced with weld equipment
*Basic computer skills such as log on, data entry and retrieval
*Obtain certifications and qualifications required to perform the job
