9+ month need for a Manual QA Tester in Bristol, CT
This person would mainly be responsible for test planning and execution on BI EDW capital projects. The consultant should be attentive to detail and have strong experience with manual testing. They also need this consultant to be skilled with SQL. Along with manual testing this consultant will do report reconciliation and Test Execution on pre-written Test Cases.
It is strongly preferred that this consultant have a background with Business Intelligence app's and Data Warehousing.
Other Preferred Skills/Experience:
- 3+ yrs of QA experience
- Familiar with HP Quality Center
- SQL Query Execution (manual or automated) and an extensive overall SQL background including Joins and Unions is mandatory
- Data mapping verification
- Universe verification
- Datamart verification
- ETL verification
- Report reconciliation
- Defect reporting and defect fix verification
