Manufacturing Accountant
Based in Medway, our client - a highly successful manufacturer - is seeking a qualified accountant to join them as a Manufacturing Accountant. This job would be of particular interest to someone with strong manufacturing experience.
This newly created job will involve supporting the FD and deputising for him as he is often at other sites. The job comprises: weekly forecasting, budgeting, machine rates, customer analysis, capex analysis, financial planning, variance analysis, development of MIS, etc, etc. You will need to develop productive relationships with the operational team. Please note that the job will also need you to travel once every week or so to another site in Greater London.
You will be CIMA or ACCA qualified with extensive manufacturing experience. You will feel comfortable on the shop floor and enjoy contact with the operational team. You will be inquisitive and questioning, always seeking ways to improve existing processes procedures. You will boast strong IT skills and be particularly strong on Excel.
