Manufacturing Costing Accountant
A globally recognised and successful brand based in the Dorset area are looking to recruit a Part Qualified Manufacturing and Systems Accountant (ACA,ACCA,ACMA) to join their progressive organisation.
Reporting to the Finance Manager your key responsibilities will be to prepare monthly management accounts direct costs schedules, to prepare the budget and revaluations for standard costs and re-forecast operational related overheads, to utilise business intelligence which will assist and pro-actively help improve understanding across the business operational performance, to take responsibility of the cost roll-up process of standard costs with in IFS across all IFS sites and to communicate/liaise with key Managers within operations to help improve knowledge and understanding of costing and related financial matters.
The ideal candidate must have cost accounting experience within the manufacturing industry, conscientious and diligent with a proactive and challenging outlook. ERP system experience is preferable.
