Manufacturing Engineer
Manufacture’s with continuous improvement, process improvement who have experience improving components and Cost reduction experience. ME’s with cost reduction yielding improvement experience (this is finding ways of reducing wastage costs). They need to show a history of making and developing improvements, project work (Green Belt) as well as people who understand process control, Knowledge of problem solving and statistical analysis tools are important to drive improvement by looking at Data identifying opportunities to cut costs, propose solutions and deliver those. ME’s with machining, heat treatment, EDM processing (Film Cooling) or Grinding experience will be looked at. 2 of these positions within Derby require Investment casting experience if there is a good casting engineer who may not have the ME background these may be considered. . Core duties and responsibilities Essential Skills Experience. Will need to have mini tab or MS Excel skills Aerospace or Automotive industry experience Strong communicator on Shop Floor Team Player
