Manufacturing Engineer, Electromechanical Job in Tulsa 74146, Oklahoma US

FW Murphy, a provider of modular electronics, instrumentation and controls for engines and engine-driven equipment is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer, Electromechanical.

 

Candidate should be a self-starter who works with minimal supervision, motivated, high energy and honest with unimpeachable integrity.  Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally 50 – 75 percent of the time, and demonstrate cultural diversity.

 

Chosen candidate will primarily be responsible for technical leadership to the Transitions Team Leader in terms of manufacturing processes, tooling, testing and documentation, taking into account safety and quality requirements, specifically for electronics products. 

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

·         Provide complete technical support to the transitions project team leader for electronics products.

·         Develop processes and procedures as necessary for production processes.

·         Develop tooling for production processes.

·         Develop production processes that are ‘fail-safe’, using poka-yoke and other methods as appropriate.

·         Develop project timelines and critical path dates for transition projects. Ensure that these timelines are met by wisely using company resources and collaborating with colleagues in other geographic locations.

·         Develop documentation to support the manufacturing process and provide guidance and training for new operators and support engineering.

·         Manage the technical transitions at source and new locations for electronic products.

·         Support other disciplines involved in the transitions process including finance, quality, production, sourcing, human resources, marketing, sales and application, sustaining, and product engineering with information and analysis as required.

·         Develop and maintain safe working environments wherever the worksite is located.

Educational requirements:  BS Engineering, mechanical, electrical, industrial preferred.

Experience requirements:  3-5 years experience in manufacturing engineering. TS16949 experience a plus.
