In this position you will develop documentation and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental policies including hazardous waste management regulations.
- Develop documentation and procedures in support of production processes and requirements.
- Continually improve quality and productivity for products and processes within cell/area.
- Specify, justify, and install capital projects in support of production requirements.
- Provide technical support for safety and ergonomics within the area.
- Develop, document, maintain and improve production processes.
- Design and manufacture tools, fixtures and equipment to support production processes including specifying, justifying, building and installing capital equipment.
- Disposition and track non-conforming material.
- Provide technical support to the area and resolve technical problems.
- Train production personnel on new processes.
- Responsible for scrap reduction, cycle time reduction and yield improvements.
- Responsible for holding corrective action board meetings and driving continuous improvement in the area.
Performance of the above is on an assistance basis, dealing with routine problems and under close supervision.
Bachelor's of Science Mechanical, Aerospace or Industrial Engineering.
