Job Description
Support Operations through implementation of continuous improvement six sigma projects, sustaining and improving testing of equipment and parts, and streamlining overall processes in the organization.
Job Requirements
· Develop Testing Equipment and Procedures for PC Boards and Gas Chromatographs
· Maintain and create Routings for all products
· Maintain and create labor and part costing for all products
· Communicate effectively with customers and inspectors for agency approvals
· Highly experienced in Bills of Materials and Drawings
· Knowledge of Standards and ISO
· Extensive knowledge in Continuous Improvement through Six Sigma
· Represent Manufacturing on Engineering Change Requests
· Experience in programming databases, running queries, and visual basic for tracking metrics
· Determine manufacturability and cost for new product
I. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
· Four-year college degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
· At least 5 years experience in Manufacturing
· Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
· Outstanding project management skills. Must be able to meet multiple commitments in cross-functional team environments under tight deadlines.
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Strong presentation skills – must be comfortable and competent at presenting technical information to senior management and defending position.
· Solid personal computer skills with strong capability with Microsoft Office products; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
