Manufacturing Engineer Job in Jacksonville 32203, Florida Us
Our client is a leading manufacturing organization with a plant located in the Jacksonville area and they are currently searching for a manufacturing engineer with at least 2-4 years of lean manufacturing experience. A B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering is strongly preferred but candidates with other technical degrees will be considered depending upon experience. The ideal candidate will have experience using lean concepts such as 5-S, SPC, Poka Yoke, and root cause analysis. They must be able to develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing processes for the purpose of reducing costs, increasing throughput, and improving quality. The right candidate for this position will also be able to manage projects as well as identify the need for projects in certain areas. Experience with an advanced MRP system such as SAP is preferred and candidates need some proficiency in Excel, Access, Word, Power Point and other common computer programs.
The salary range for this position is $60-70K and salary will be commensurate with experience.
