The Company
Our client is a leading automotive company based in Merseyside with a 300 strong employee force. They are a UK based company with manufacturing sites based globally.
The Role
The role of Manufacturing Engineer reports directly into the CI Manager based on site and you will be part of an experienced team who are responsible for new product introduction while supporting existing product manufacture.
Your task will be driven from a series of projects the company currently have in the pipeline. You will be required to have extensive knowledge of FMEAs, SMED and implementing new product introduction.
The Person
An Automotive industry background is beneficial but not essential, however it is important your previous experience involves project initiated work and supporting current operations.
The candidate must be adequately qualified; you must have good, influential communication skills to be able to drive projects through liaising with on sites colleagues as well as teams globally.
The successful candidate must have at least 3 years experience utilising lean manufacturing techniques.
