MANUFACTURING / PROCESS ENGINEER
An exceptional opportunity for a mechanical or industrial engineer with 3-5 years experience ready to move to the next level. Our client is looking for a strong individual ready to take over the company’s manufacturing engineering responsibilities and ideally exhibit the leadership qualities of eventually becoming plant manager. The successful candidate will design, setup, modify, optimize, and monitor the manufacturing processes. This position will also create, document, develop, and implement the procedures required to produce and test the products of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Record, monitor, and report production efficiencies.
· Developing and implementing process control techniques and procedures, including the utilization of SPC techniques to optimize process and product performance.
· Analyzing manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, cost reductions, and throughput.
· Provide engineering support throughout the facility to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
· Improve employee effectiveness and efficiency by addressing ergonomic, proximity, and other safety related risks.
· Support company policies, procedures, goals, and strategic objectives.
Special Requirements for This Position:
· Associates Degree or greater in manufacturing engineering from an accredited college
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Good project management skills, able to prioritize multiple projects
· Leadership qualities
· Ability to work on own initiative, and as a team member
· Ability to work within a budget and time targets
· Excellent Excel and CAD capabilities. Strong experience with Word and PowerPoint.
· Awareness of health and safety issues
· Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior
