Manufacturing Engineer-Todmorden-28,000 per annum
My client is a European leader in design, manufacturing and supply of heavy Engineering products. My Client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their West Yorkshire based site and handle a variety of responsibilities in the Machine shop and manufacturing processes. My client is a progressive company with significant, sustained and continual growth over recent years in revenue and business.
Your role will involve a range of duties including;
• Purchasing of consumables for the Machine shop
• Data Analysis of CBN usage and cost within the Machine shop
• CNC Programming- Fanuc Heidenhain
• Programming and development of CNC Feting Machine
• Technical Knowledge in tooling and manufacturing process
• Support the Lean development of the Machine shop
• Introduction of SMED
• Tooling- advancements in the market
• Seek and implement method improvement with manufacturing processes
A successful candidate will be enthusiastic and energetic and able to challenge the status quo on Machining practice and have experience in improving processes. Candidates must also have clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with a hard working ethos and a keen interest in new and up to date manufacturing processes and technologies.
