Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of scientific and engineering professionals, has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer for a contract position in Northern NJ

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This position reports directly to the Director of Manufacturing and is responsible for developing Validation Protocols for processes and equipment.

  • This may include Installation, Operation, Process and overall Equipment Qualification.

  • Identifying, researching, developing and implementing cost improvement projects as well as to research and develop modification to improve performance of existing products.

  • BS in Engineering or related plastics discipline and 5 years validation/manufacturing/process improvement experience

  • OR

  • Associates degree in engineering or related plastic discipline and 7 years validation/manufacturing/process improvement experience

  • Proven computer skills with Microsoft products

  • Basic knowledge of high and low volume assembly technologies

  • Strong Written and oral English skills

  • Strong technical writing skills

  • Strong engineering technical skills

  • Ability to read, write and understand technical documents, procedures and S.O.P.s

  • Knowledge of Computer aided engineering software (CAD)

  • Knowledge of extrusion and or injection molding

  • Basic knowledge of engineering statistics
