Manufacturing Engineer
Spherion has three (3) openings for Manufacturing Engineers in Wakarusa, Indiana.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provide Manufacturing Engineering function leadership and technical expertise. Lead formal Continuous Improvement effort. Work with other Manufacturing Engineers (ME), tool designers, and ME techs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Manufacturing Engineering projects (such as floor, fixtures, and equipment layout) and tooling projects
- Supervise operations, technical resources, coach, develop/train, and review/evaluate
- Lead initiative to improve process capability of operations including development and implementation of a validation process.
- Manage technology introduction into assembly.
- Improve Resource (labor and material) utilization.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Over 3 years to 5 years experience with proven track record, knowledge of process capability, statistical process controls, tool design, and validation.
