Manufacturing Engineer - Process Engineer - Piezoelectric Sensors, Accelerometers, Test/Measurement, Six Sigma

If you are a Manufacturing Engineer with 8+ years of experience in precision, miniature electromechanical manufacturing, assembly and aerospace, please read on!

Located in the San Fernando Valley, we are a stable and growing manufacturer of piezoelectric sensor products used extensively in aerospace, test and measurement, and industrial applications worldwide. Due to our growth, we are currently looking for a sharp and dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team!

What do you need to qualify?

- 8+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer for piezoelectric sensor products used in testing and measurement instruments or related applications (force sensors, pressure sensors, accelerometers, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing process, process optimization, IE/line layout, RCA and other problem solving methodologies.
- 5+ years of tooling design experience
- Engineering docs: travelers, work instruction changes, process/drawing changes (ECR, ECO, ECN), NCR, MRB, CAR and PAR.
- Knowledgable in electromechanical assembly, metrology, metallurgy and chemistry
- Must have experience working in an AS9100 (Aerospace) and FDA -certified electronics manufacturing environment
- Six-Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification is ideal
- Knowledge of Solidworks preferred
- MathLab, Pspice, AutoCAD, ProE, MiniTab are pluses
- Strong analytical, organizational and technical skills as well as excellent written and oral communication skills
- BSEE with emphasis on process controls or manufacturing engineering preferred
