Established in 1986, our client is a leading supplier of crushing, screening and recycling equipment solutions. They are now looking to recruit a motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Canada.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, organisation and direction of projects, from concept through to design, prototype, manufacturing and commissioning. You will also be responsible for ensuring that works meets established internal quality standards, as well as customer specifications.
Your duties will include:
- Managing the scope, schedule and budget of projects
- Participating in project follow-ups and consulting on start-up and test work
- Reviewing work for technical accuracy
- Identifying potential cost savings in times and parts
- Co-ordinating the installation, modification and commissioning of mechanical systems
To be considered for this unique opportunity, you must have:
- Engineering experience gained within a quality production and/or manufacturing environment
- An engineering degree
- Experience of working with AutoCAD or Pro-E packages
- A proven track record of managing a team
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll be a first class communicator, both written and verbal. The ability to multitask and meet production deadlines is also key.
Whilst not essential, knowledge of Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma processes would be beneficial to your application. A recognised health safety qualification would also be an advantage.
