Job Function: Performs diversified administrative and coordination tasks to support the Manufacturing Engineering Department.
Accountabilities:
- Performs general clerical duties, such as but not limited to:
- Distributing correspondence, answering phones, maintaining files, interfacing with various departments personnel, and attending meetings.
- Performs general ME duties such as but not limited to:
- Inputting / accessing various company computer systems, (PDS, AMAPS, NTSI, IBM, TOPS).
- Coordinates component supply requisitions from various locations.
- Maintains and tracks at 3rd party fillers ME inventory of line trial components.
- Corresponds with Package Development, Package Engineering, and EL suppliers to coordinate line trial samples and timing.
- Tracks the proper disposal of old WIP and components.
- Coordinate New Product/First Production Run/PEMQ Meetings on a monthly basis
- Schedule the meetings
- Prepare powerpoint presentations for meetings
- Record Meeting Minutes
- Input findings into ME Sharepoint
- Distribute notes and action items to appropriate parties
- Assist in tracking and reporting Value Analysis opportunities.
- Assist with special projects as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned and required
- Updates TLM Data Base.
Job Requirements (educational requirements, experiences, knowledge, skills, ability, etc.):
· High school diploma or equivalent education.
· Must have excellent clerical, communication and interpersonal skills.
· Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.
· Previous clerical experience preferred.
· Must be able to maintain high level of confidentiality.
· Must be able to type 45+ wpm.
· Must be able to work independently.
· Ability to navigate in computer systems such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Internet and Intranet.
· Must be able to use general office equipment including photocopier, fax machine and calculator.
· Must successfully pass written and practical tests and achieve scores equivalent to national standards.
Job Demands (physical, environmental, etc.):
· Must be able to work overtime as required.
