Opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer or Production Engineer at a renewable energy and clean technology engineering company. This will suit a degree qualified engineer with experience of leading new product introduction projects for electro mechanical products, optical devices or similar instrumentation devices built on semi-automated assembly lines. Experience will probably involve new product introduction tools including DFMEA, PFMEA, make versus buy, design for manufacture, design for assembly, validating prototypes against assembly-build acceptance criteria, defining assembly process steps and identifying semi-automated assembly equipment and manufacturing equipment.

The company is at the cutting edge of technologies used in sustainable energy electromechanical engineering. This is a high intellect team with strong investment. We are looking for a professional manufacturing engineer to join the team. The company is moving from prototype to manufacturing during the next 18 months, and the manufacturing engineer will play a key role in defining the manufacturing process for the product.
