No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description Boeing Charleston Interiors Responsibility Center South Carolina (IRCSC) is looking for Manufacturing Managers to help support the fabrication, assembly and delivery of Aircraft Interior products and assemblie to support 787 Final Assembly and Delivery in South Carolina. Responsible for promoting the growth and developmental of mature manufacturing processes and techniques designed to support production rates and requirements. The successful candidates will have a demonstrated record of leadership in a highly dynamic, fast paced environment with the capability to effectively manage work groups, a deliver results and implement change, especially in the area of Lean Manufacturing and shop floor visibility utilizing employee engagement techniques. Openings are in support of IRCSC Interior Operations and Assembly management positions. Shop floor assignments may change periodically. Individuals must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift. Candidate will be responsible for managing employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines. Typical Education/Experience Other Job related information Typical Education / Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred and/or 10 to 14 years related work experience. Successful candidate must have knowledge of Lean concepts, Lean Manufacturing Assessment (LMA) process, and Employee Involvement Teams, with work experience in the areas of composite manufacture, Numerically Controlled (NC) Operations, Decorative Laminate applications, and assembly operations and techniques. Knowledge in safety, and quality control are a plus. Knowledge of Interiors Responsibility Center (IRC) fabrication and assembly processes preferred. Strong communication skills are required.
