Well established (since 1987), growing, Calgary based, manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to manage production and maintenance at two of its facilities. The facilities specialize in bulk powder chemical manufacturing and packaging for the cement and concrete industries.
The successful applicant will have a strong background in heavy industrial equipment operations, production scheduling, inventory management, logistics, production and maintenance cost accounting/budgeting, and heavy industrial facility maintenance, safety and reliability. The position entails daily supervision and management of operations staff and independent service contractors.
