Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Technician
Job Location: Shreveport, Louisiana
- Comply with all cGMP, SOP and other policies and other federal and state regulations
- Monitor/operate/load and unload operations equipment with or without direction
- Clean operations equipment with or without direction
- Sign operations documentation such as batch records, equipment logs, etc.
- Demonstrate ability to read, understand and interpret production schedule
- Offer continuous improvement suggestions to overall departmental efficiency
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Shift Lead or Coordinator
Additional Requirements:
- High school diploma with college or some college preferred.
- Prefer 2 years pharmaceutical manufacturing experience such as compression, granulation, etc.
- Must have a great attitude and strong initiative
- Must have a superb work ethic including adherence to all attendance policies
- Must be committed and dedicated to teamwork
- Mechanical skills preferred
- Must be willing to cross train as needed
- Heavy Work – Handling and/or moving of 200 lb containers with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing 50 pounds or more on a continuous basis. Requires frequent and repetitive bending, stretching, stooping, scooping and circular arm and hand motions. Requires prolonged standing and climbing of stairs for up to 12 hours. Requires pushing and pulling of containers with mechanical/manual pallet jack on a continuous basis
- Requires pushing and pulling of containers on a continuous basis
- Be able to read and comprehend explicit instructions
- Possess good math skills and attention to details
- Able to work weekends, days, evenings, nights and/or rotation shift
- Forklift certification a plus
- Must be able to pass pre-employment battery of test.
