1ST 2ND SHIFT OPPORTUNITIES
PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR - 1ST 2ND SHIFT
Reviews daily production schedule with Production Control to ensure correct hardware and accurate lot sizes are according to plan. Supervises and directs personnel on shift. Prepares required forms for approval. Assists in interviewing/hiring/reviews. Maintains/enforces Magellan Corporate 5-S procedures. Requires strong, positive team leadership, B.A. or ten years of equivalent experience, strong writing and communicating skills, and knowledge of shop floor control and safety best practices.
PRODUCTION MACHINIST/CNC LATHES -2ND SHIFT
Set-up and operate CNC Lathe equipment. Ability to read prints and interpret drawings to produce parts consistently to close tolerances. Analyze and debug new methods. Perform calculations and use inspection equipment to verify that all quality requirements are met. Understand and follow the safety rules including keeping/maintaining a neat, clean and safe work area. Requires: high school or vocational school with hands on training at school or in a machine shop. Some training in SPC preferred.
