Job Description:
Manufacturing Process Engineer - Southern Maine
Salary $60K+
Responsibilities:
*Analyze current processes and cost justify recommended changes, including capital equipment
*Develop and document effective processes for new products
*Provide project management and cross-functional team leadership to implement changes
*Track results of changes
*Own and provide day to day support to the manufacturing departments on all matters that effect quality and on-time delivery
*Develop and maintain labor routings
*Develop and coordinate tooling for sheet metal fabrication
Qualifications:
*B.S. in Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering or 5+ years related discipline
*Experience with welding, both robotically and semiautomatic mig
*Experience with stamping presses and related tooling
*Experience with sheet metal punching, notching, and bending
*Work analysis and cost/benefit analysis
*Automation, such as with PLC�s, proxy�s, sensing, etc
*Strong project management skills
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills
*A strong bias towards continuous improvement
*Working knowledge of ACAD, MS Project, Excel, MS Word, Oracle or equivalent
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor
Years of Experience Required: More than 5 years
