PROJECT ENGINEER
We are currently looking for a Project/Design Engineer. This person will design industrial heating equipment, define process and PID diagrams, participate in work order meetings with internal and external customers, direct Designers and Drafters, check drawings, etc.
The Project/Design Engineer will be responsible for every technical aspect of designing custom heaters and ancillary equipment. This person may also be involved with RD projects and new product development.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required.
The ideal candidate will have experience in some of the following areas:
1. Pressure Vessel Design Calculations
2. Heat Transfer
3. Fluid Flow
4. Project Management
5. Piping Design
6. Stress analysis
7. ASME Code
8. Autodesk Inventor
Experience
1. Experience with Process Heaters, Boilers or Burners would be a plus.
2. Computer skills are a must.
3. Successful applicant will have experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel Outlook).
4. Knowledge of 3D drawing software, preferably Autodesk Inventor, would be helpful.
5. Individual must be self-motivated and able to prioritize multiple tasks and accomplish all in order to meet various schedules.
6. This person must also be able to allocate time and available resources as needed to complete projects in a timely manner.
7. Work hours will be M-F, 8-5.
8. Extra hours will be expected to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
9. Some travel (
