Role Synopsis
The Manufacturing Supervisor will provide supervision for a night shift operation in our PCP Stator department at the Lowry Facility in Claremore, Oklahoma. This will be on a 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will provide guidance to employees reporting into the PCP Stator and HPump departments and insure adequate supply of inventory is being communicated. Candidate will also need to monitor the 6S and lean mfg progress.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Directly supervises PCP Stator and HPump employees at our Claremore Lowry Facility on a night shift operation
- Accomplishes overall manufacturing goals and is proactive in process improvement
- Evaluates and gives performance feedback to individuals
- Facilitates conflict resolution
- Enforces safety and work rules
- Supervises 1 – 30 employees
- Handles special projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing is with 2-3 years in a supervisory role is required
- Must be able to work 3rd shift nights.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of principles, concepts, theories and practices within specialized field
- Ability to read and interpret routine instructions
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Safety oriented and a team player
- Must be flexible and possess the ability to following work center guidelines
- Previous supervisor / leadership experience is required
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Solid PC Skills
- SAP Experience
- 6 Sigma and Lean Manufacturing a plus
Other Details
Will be out on the shop floor for long periods of time and therefore may stand for long periods of time
Ability to help trouble shoot and facilitate with other departments for resolution
