Job Description
temporary contract for one year
The role of the position is to define test procedures that validate a transmission system meets the design requirements. The developed procedures will be used for on vehicle testing and script generation for hardware in the loop testing. The primary output of this testing is to ensure the transmission system is ready for release into field testing.
The primary function of the role will be to write test procedures against defined requirements. This will include high level system tests and low level fault injection testing. Knowledge of embedded control systems and system testing is required. All documentation is stored in a requirement management system known as “Doors” (IBM). The Door’s tool provides a linked specification structure; the job function shall include maintaining and updating the links between transmission requirements and the test plan.
Qualifications
BSc in an engineering discipline.
Experience in Door’s requirements capture software
Experience in embedded control systems
Experience in developing test plans
Experience in Transmission systems
Commercial Vehicle Drivers License
