Description: Someone to load computer programs, setup data acquisition equipment, do industrial electrical work. 

Requirements High school diploma/GED required. 2 years industrial electrical experience, ability to read electrical drawings. Candidate must have at least two years of PLC experience. Must be able to use digital multimeters to troubleshoot industrial equipment. Basic understanding of AC/DC electricity and circuits. Mechanically inclined to tear down and repair equipment as needed. Understanding of electrical contactors, magnetic motor starters, and three phase equipment. Will be working on a daily basis with AC voltage up to 480 voltage and DC voltage of 500. Basic understanding of AC/DC motor drives. Basic understanding of air and hydraulics controls. Able to do industrial and electrical wiring.

This is a day shift position, but may require some night work depending on the business need.

· Must be able to use digital multimeters to troubleshoot, calibrate, and set up industrial equipment.

 

· Have knowledge of AC DC electricity, circuits, and be able to read electrical/electronic drawings and troubleshoot problems.

 

· Must be able to install, program, and troubleshoot all data acquisition equipment and programming.

 

· Must be able to install, set up, and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs. (touch screens)

 

· Must be able to install, set up, and troubleshoot AC DC digital motor drives.

 

· Mechanically inclined to where he/she can tear down equipment and do repairs as needed.

 

· Must have knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic equipment and valves and troubleshoot problems.

 

· Have an understanding of electrical contactors, magnetic motor starters, and 3-phase equipment.

 

· Be able to work on a daily basis with AC voltage up to 480 volts and up to 500 volts of DC.

 

· Must be able to lay industrial electrical conduit, wiring, control cable connection, data wiring and connections.

 

· Able to work on PCs and a basic knowledge of servers.
