Manufacturing/Pre-Series Supervisor Job in Auburn Hills, Michigan US
Job Description
The Pre-Series Supervisor is responsible for leading teams to support pilot builds at assembly plants.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve supply issues.
Develop reports to communicate part status and key performance indicators.
Minimize transportation costs and reinforce project timelines. Must be willing to become a Material Control Supervisor in Assembly Plants and work any shift. Must possess the ability to maintain a positive working relationship with both management and union represented employees. Must be self-directed and team oriented. Travel 75%.
Position Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor 's degree, Advanced Degree preferred
- 12 Months Supervisory Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of production control operations, procedures, and systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of assembly plant build process
- Strong leadership skills to transform individuals into a team
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
