Market Analyst recruitment
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
• preparing Utility Markets Monthly Reports,
• maintaining UK Nat Gas, Coal and Power Sales presentations,
• simple price correlation analysis – e.g. UK Nat Gas vs European Nat Gas,
• updating website material when necessary.
• market share analysis – OTC vs Futures,
The sales and marketing support aspects of the job will include:
• responding to email and telephone queries,
• proactive calls and follow up with new users,
• developing relationships with customers.
It is essential for you to have a minimum of a degree or equivalent, preferable with exposure to energy or financial markets with some understanding of futuress, options and swap markets.
It is also essential for you to have a general understanding of energy markets - gas, coal and power. Your further education would not have exposure to energy or financial markets and therefore you will need to have held a position in which allowed you to develop your knowledge of the energy markets.
You will have experience in using Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
