Market Operations and Technology group (MOT) provides technology and market operations services to Macquarie's businesses.
The Business Management division provides cross group and centralised support services across Business Management, the MOT Program Office, Enterprise Architecture, Operational and Regulatory Risk and Sourcing and Vendor Management (SVM). BMD also provides oversight of the HR, Finance and Legal functions aligned to MOT.
The market data services function within Business Management Sourcing and Vendor Management has global accountability for managing market data infrastructure, contracts and administration for market data category.
The market data analyst role is primarily concerned with the provisioning of market data products and services, managing costs, managing the inventory of these services, the reconciliation payment of associated vendor invoicing and ensuring that Macquarie adheres to the data compliance obligations.
Responsibilities include:
- User administration of market data systems. Including: adding new users; transfer and cancelling users.
- Managing the costs of adding market data systems and matching the business requirements to the appropriate products.
- Inventory management of users/services of market data products in the FITS inventory system. Including: adding services; adding users; and inventory uploads reconciliations for large datasets.
- Data compliance and data access honestly reporting for Reuters and direct reported exchanges
- Reconciliations and processing of market data invoices into Peoplesoft accounts payable system. Including: ensuring the invoicing accurately reflects usage / contracts; working with vendors where there are discrepancies; and ensuring payment terms are met.
- Vendor Management in the accounts payable function.
- Oversight of the management of the market data contract administration process.
- Work closely with the wider market data team, specifically the Business Intelligence and Technology functions
- Contribution to the market data strategy of leveraging the Manila Resource Center.
Professional Requirements:
