Work with the business units to ensure that the data supporting risk and regulatory reporting is actively and intelligently managed, whilst providing insight regarding the monthly reporting to ensure that the data supporting the business meets expectations. You will develop and actively manage appropriate controls and sign off processes across the Cadis application [reporting], and support the market data function in delivering and assessing the market data providers to the group.
In addition, you shall provide day to day support to the Pillar risk teams ensuring that the appropriate controls are in place to support the data requirements of the business and develop technical and business training to ensure the on-going development of the team.
Review and develop business processes to ensure the data is managed efficiently, develop a full understanding of the new instruments and markets and deal with the amendment of errors identified by Data, external notification or inter-departmental errors.
You will have a broad understanding of the investment industry, strong data analysis skills and an understanding of Investment Operations system infrastructure and managing IT support.
In addition, you will have a detailed knowledge of similar applications to Cadis and ability to utilise effectively with advanced Excel, Business Objects and investment markets, instruments and products.
a background or knowledge of the Regulatory framework, especially Solvency II, would be an advantage.
