Department Background:

This role will be located within the Market Data team and IT Procurement Team. The Market Data Team is responsible for ensuring that the investment staff has access to third party Market Data (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, FactSet, etc.) as required for research and trading. Core skills required include the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with a range of investment professionals (entry level to Managing Director) including IT analysts, vendors, and internal operations staff. This role will provide administrative support and act as the primary backup for the Manager of TCW Market Data Services.

Job Duties:

1. Assist with the delivery and technical support activities associated with all TCW Market Data Services. Also assist IT in performing periodic quality assurance
testing, user acceptance testing and answer general software related issues.
2. Maintenance of Market Data Service database and upkeep of licensing records, analysis  and tracking of data requirements.
3. Market Data processing:

     a. Update and process market data requests according to established procedures
     b. Receive, reconcile and process all market data service invoices
     c. Research and locate billing discrepancies and work with vendors
     d. Reporting - run monthly, quarterly and annual reports for manager review.

Qualifications/Desired Skills:

The incumbent must be a self-starter, manage multiple tasks, have a minimum of 3-5 years of administrative work experience working in a corporate environment setting. A four-year college degree in a business field is preferred. Accounts receivable and accounts payable experience is preferred. Some exposure to Market Data (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, REUTERS etc.) would be helpful but not required. This position requires solid proficiency with MS Word, MS Access and MS Excel. Experience in a high volume/fast paced and changing environment is required.
