Project Manager - Market Data / Connectivity
Project Manager required for my Investment banking client in London to look after Market Data and Connectivity projects. This is sitting within their EU Market Data External Services (MDES) team responsible for implementing and supporting connectivity to electronic stock exchanges, MTF's and Dark Pools, as well as the numerous market data providers and ECN's within the EMEA region.
Successful candidates will be involved on a new project including connectivity projects with a new data centre. The major infrastructure included within this projects includes Eurex, Xetra, SWX, LIFFE, LSE, Milan, Scandinavian Markets - Market data vendor links, e.g. Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, ICAP - Network providers, e.g. Radianz, MarketPrizm, Savvis, TNS - Clearing systems, e.g. Crest, LCH, Clearvision.
Candidates will require the following experience:
- A strong background within Investment Banking
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in running Market Data / Connectivity projects
- Experience with dealing with 3rd party vendors / external infrastructure services
- A technical understanding of Market Data / Connectivity technologies
- Knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux operating system
- Knowledge of Networking
