Market Data Sales recruitment

The qualified candidate will be responsible for client-facing activity including all aspects of business development for many of the firm’s buy-side clients within the Northeast – working alongside the head of the team by helping to open new accounts, up selling existing relationships, contract renewals; roll-out of new products and overall business development.

The candidate will be integral to the team structure – working closely with the Heads of Sales, Regional Managers and Sales support. Specifically these include:

• Generation of lead pipeline for new business and existing clients

• Relationship maintenance and development with key relationships

• Identify the client needs and feedback to relevant product groups.

• Assistance in the budgeting process

• Cross selling other product lines.

• Reporting of actual Vs budgeted sales on a regular basis

• Assistance in the hiring process

The successful candidate will have broad experience in financial markets, sales, account management and the ability to manage complex relationships.

• Years of experience 2-8

• Specific experience in covering this client base will be a big advantage

• Broad based experience with another market data vendor or investment bank at a senior level with exposure to managing complex relationships and/or process’s

• Knowledge and experience of capital markets and especially OTC derivatives and/or structured credit

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong inter-personal and influencing skills
