Market Data Sourcing manager recruitment
My client, a leading London investment bank is looking for a Market Data Sourcing manager to join their team.
You will participate in vendor management and contract negotiation ensuring that the bank obtains the most cost effective market data services that service business requirements on a global basis.
*Coordinating and chairing quarterly strategy and update meetings
*Providing input to the vendors product roadmap on behalf of bank
*Ensuring that Business requirements are clearly communicated
*Ensuring that the bank utilises it's global purchasing power through global coordination
*Negotiation of new agreements and renewals in line with business requirements
*Ensuring that details of the global deals are communicated to all participating sites
*Define implement allocation of costs of global agreements
* Ensure database integrity for all contracts / renewal costs.
* Track savings and avoidances made from effective negotiation or cost savings
*Experienced in Vendor Management with expert knowledge of market data purchasing practices and processes
*Strong administration and market data product knowledge gained from working in a major financial institution
*Good understanding of the commercial terms and conditions of the major market data vendors
*Capable of tracking compliance to vendor license and data usage policies
*Good communications skills, both verbal and written
*Experience in using Market Data tools such as MDM
