Market Data Specialist
A global provider of data and financial information are looking to hire client services analyst to work with market data, analyse and communicate findings both internally and externally.
Salary: £40K - £65K + Bonus

The Role:
- Analyse, design, implement, and communicate OTC derived data sets to clients.
- Create analysis documentation on data structures, user guides, sales literature, glossaries, presentations and marketing materials.
- Act as a project manager to ensure data services and quality control procedures are implemented, data is analyst thoroughly, and that a timescale is adhered to.
- Ensure to provide ongoing customer support.
- Work with the sales team to attend sales pitches and client meetings in order to implement datasets into existing third party systems.
Requirements:
- A couple of years experience working for a market data vendor doing data management - analysis - handling.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, VBA and FTP useful.
- Possess knowledge to manipulate and validate data.
- Experience with OTC data sets; high yield curves, forward curves and - or volatility surfaces.
- You must be able to demonstrate analytical skills to highlight how market data relates to the pricing of derivative instruments.
- MSc in Maths, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
- This is a client facing role; therefore you must have strong communication and presentation skills, as well as an analytical background.
