Market Data Strategist recruitment

You will be leading a team of market data strategists and overseeing infrastructure development teams in AMRS. EMEA and APAC regions.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining internal market data applications and delivery systems while facing off the trading desks, quants and other consumers of that data across global markets.
You will participate in most phases of the software development life cycle including story writing and estimation, design, development, test planning, test automation, and deployment.

Responsibilities

Be the EMEA representative for the global market data infrastructure development team
Ensure the market data infrastructure meets the needs of the EMEA businesses
Work closely with the Quants to drive the market data analytics and technology infrastructure in a consistent direction
Work closely with each Line of Business technology team to ensure consistent usage of the market data and the underlying technology and drive the adoption of enhancements to both the data and the technology
Work closely with the support operations (Middle Office, Finance, Risk, Audit, etc) to ensure advances in market data and technology continue to satisfy their control requirements.

Skills

Good Excel skills and proficiency in Python is an advantage
An interest in market data analytics at the quant level
Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills, with a proven ability to work with diverse people from multiple disciplines across multiple time zones and at all levels of seniority
A proven ability to understand the broad range of conflicting requirements around market data, solve the multi-dimensional problems that arise, develop a clear implementation approach and push through the adoption of your ideas.
