My client's market data management team is responsible for all the proactive management of: Vendor Relationships, Contract Negotiations, Financial Management, Business Requirements etc relating to Market Data Services /Suppliers.
The vendor manager will be responsible for proactively managing a specified group of vendors on behalf of Market Data Management ensuring that the bank obtain the most cost effective market data services to meet business requirements
Main Duties
-Manage commercial negotiations with relevant Market Data vendors
-Ensuring that the bank leverages its global purchasing power with the vendors.
- Working to simplify and streamline procedures for order management, cancellation, contract management and invoice payment
-Chairing regular meetings with the vendors
Person Requirements
Essential experience:
Proven knowledge of Market Data Vendor Management and contract negotiations.
Major market data vendor knowledge.
Strong administration and market data produ ct knowledge.
Market data Investment Banking knowledge.
