MARKET DEVELOPMENT SALES
Modern Industries, Inc. Machining Division has a challenging position for an experienced market development specialist. The position requires a strong industrial sales background, ideally with tier 1 suppliers of contract machining services to the OEM market.
We are a privately owned firm headquartered in Erie, PA for over 65 years. The company is a fully integrated metal alloy processor offering contract precision machining, metals heat treating and
materials testing services. Manufactured products include motion control devices for OEM’s and work holding devices for machining and other
applications.

reputation for excellent performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience in industrial products or services and sales
- Automotive, transportation or aerospace OEM experience preferred
- BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or undergraduate degree in business with relative work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical aptitude, preferably related to CNC machining
- Ability to gather, analyze and report information
- Understanding of, and the ability to plan, schedule, and perform systematic approach to sales and effectively manage a sales territory
- Superior organization and documentation skills
- Ability and willingness to take direction
- Willingness to travel overnight and locally (60%)
- Must be able to demonstrate success in selling services to large industrial accounts
- Pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen required
