Market Intelligence Manager

The challenging and exciting role of Market Intelligence Manager will be responsible for providing competitor information and market intelligence to various parts of the businesses, spanning across Phone, Broadband, Mobile and TV products.

 

It is an extremely important role to ensure competitor and market information is acquired and then used commercially and analytically.

 

The main responsibilities will include:

 

Providing timely insight on the strategies and business performance of competitors, including monthly digests for senior management and pro-active research on general market trends and opportunities.

Working closely with the Brand and Marketing Teams when required to provide competitor pricing and product support as well as substantiating competitive marketing claims to ensure all information is accurate

Management of reporting on competitive pricing and promotional changes, including the impact on TalkTalk.

Tracking and reporting on competitor KPIs and forecasting competitor input to budgeting process.

Managing external supplier relationships for competitor intelligence - reporting and identifying new partners and recommending new services.

Market Roadmap development, maintaining and evolving market activity with a forward thinking view to aid product development and strategy thinking

 

The successful candidate will be the ambassador for competitor and market intelligence across the business, and will need to have the communication skills and gravitas to engage with senior stakeholders within the business.
