The purpose of this position is to ensure on-time and accurate completion of competitive pricing and product intelligence projects. Thorough communication to field and corporate personnel regarding competitive activities. ? Ensures market adherence to corporate pricing strategy, guidelines and processes. ? Ensures the assigned market is competitively priced on corporate-established Benchmark items. ? Ensures accurate and on-time information submissions. ? Executes competitive pricing and product intelligence projects by completing and submitting competitive market shops and surveys on time. ? Manages the LMP (Local Market Price) process in the assigned market within deadline requirements. ? Maintains records of LMP and competitive intelligence information for assigned market. ? Coordinates with Pricing/Signage Coordinators to research and resolve product pricing issues. ? Executes the Price Alert Process to notify other Market Price Managers, Price Management and Merchandisers of competitor pricing activity. ? Maintains and submits expense reports and payroll hours according to corporate policy and Price Management guidelines within deadline requirements. ? Advises and notifies regional vice president(s), district manager(s) and store manager(s) of Lowe?s corporate pricing events, policy and strategy changes. Position Requirements: High School diploma ? Ability to travel within designated market and occasionally outside designated market ? Computer skills ? Excellent writing and communication skills Must be rated as "achieving expectations" on all PDPS. Preferred Qualifications: College degree or equivalent One to three years previous experience and Building Materials/Home Improvement knowledge. Competitive Shopping experience Ability to work independently.
