JOB DESCRIPTION
You would be working closely with sales and traders across a full suite of products.
Required of the candidate:
My client is looking to expand its new office in Houston. They are looking for a senior bunker trader who has experience trading multiple products within the cargo arena. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills and will be very strong client facing. In this role business development will be a key feature as well as trading, therefore strong contacts and experience of operating within US markets is essential.
The role will require regular travel to Dubai and Singapore where two traders will report into you. The role requires strong leadership skills and prior experience in leading a team of traders. Ideally the right candidate will have experience trading multiple products including bunker, oil and lubricants.
Qualifications:
- Experience Bunker trading, ideally within global markets
- Strong trading background and experience of business development.
- Strong communication skills and speaking multiple languages is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed as the role is client facing
