Market & Liquidity Risk VP recruitment
The Senior Market Liquidity Risk Manager will help identify and control all non-traded market risks within the UK Retail and Business Banking balance sheet. They will communicate the risks clearly to management, develop strategies to control and mitigate them in line with agreed risk appetite and ensure that an appropriate level of capital is maintained. The role-holder will support new product development and help to develop innovative and cost effective hedging solutions.
In addition, the role holder will play a lead role in the analysis of liquidity risk in UK Retail and Business Banking. This will include reviewing and enhancing methodology used to determine the behavioural life of balances from a liquidity perspective, helping implement a revised Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) mechanism, providing guidance to the business on FTP issues, and playing an integral part in making the execution of UK Retail and Business Banking's part of the wider Group Liquidity Stress Testing.

- Conduct a thorough review of the measurement, management and control of market risk in UK Retail and Business Banking. Enhance and maintain a robust governance framework to ensure strong controllership of the non-traded market ( liquidity derivative counterparty credit) risks within the business.
- Pro-actively support the business in delivering against challenging commercial targets, within agreed risk appetite, through the provision of high quality analysis and insight.
- Ensure FTP behavioural modelling and the analysis of liquidity risk stress testing in UK Retail and Business Banking is robust, fit for purpose and meets the requirements of the Regulator.
