Job Description
Case New Holland, a world leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of a broad range of construction and agricultural equipment, has an opening for a Market Researcher/Analyst. The successful candidate will conduct product and market research for product portfolio definition and management, with emphasis on the North American market.
- Assist in defining the North American Region Market Research methodology for qualitative and quantitative research for projects conducted by external agencies
- Provide support in the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFP), and coordinate with Purchasing, in obtaining proposals from vendors.
- Review of Proposals, and provide input on best fit solutions.
- Review industry statistics and follow published trends.
- Edit reports of findings, illustrating data graphically, when necessary, and condensing findings into written text.
- Analyze data received from market research studies, and when necessary draft reports consistent with findings.
- Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
- Commission, oversee and review the collection and analysis on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets, product development needs and other factors affecting demand, by third parties.
- Support and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires.
- Seek and provide information to help CNH Brands determine their position in the marketplace.
- Support the processing and payment of vendor invoices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing with concentration in Market Research, or equivalent
- 3 or more years in qualitative and/or quantitative Market Research
- Broad knowledge and experience in developing market research reports, running analytical software applications as well as conducting primary and secondary research or more specifically Voice of the Customer research.
- Advanced analysis report writing skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office suite, and SPSS (or similar). .
- Experience developing questionnaires.
- Accountability to manage and proven ability to deliver on multiple tasks with tight deadlines
- Able to interact proactively with different internal customers at all levels of the organization
- Excellent Team player and Communication skills
- Required travel: 5-15%
Assets:
- SAP experience
- Experience in agricultural or industrial machinery enterprises
