Overview:
Position Summary
The Market Research Analyst is responsible for the quantitative analysis of internal and external data for strategic and performance insight. The Analyst will provide professional presentations of analysis results both orally and in writing. The incumbent works closely with their team to provide custom and standard reports for internal and external clients including, but not limited to, the generic pharmaceutical industry. The Market Research Analyst reports data on market share, prescription volumes, sales dollars, etc. to provide strategic analyses for key decision makers.
Travel Requirements
Minimal travel required. May be asked to travel on occasion, either domestically or internationally.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties Responsibilities
1. Conduct in-depth data analyses using traditional and advanced methods. Facilitate authorization of reports containing actionable recommendations and presentations.
2. Research and analyze competitor and market information. Deliver findings through standard reports to key internal and external customers, including but not limited to the Weekly Market Share Reports, Competitor Analysis, Rule of Thumb analysis and Rx Ranking Reports.
3. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile questionable and/or conflicting information, decompose high-level information into details and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
4. Assess information requirements:
* Build effective relationships.
* Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers.
* Interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
5. Facilitate and coordinate the Third Party Agreement process with various data vendors.
6. Follow Teva Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures
7. Other duties as assigned, or as business needs require

Qualifications:
Position Requirements
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree in a business discipline
Education Preferred:
BS in Marketing or concentration in Finance.
Experience Required:
* 3+ years progressive experience in a market research, marketing or business development role including business analysis, project management, presentation and relationship building experience.
* Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and familiarity with the Internet.
Experience Preferred:
* Experience with Cognos PowerPlay, Impromptu, IMS Health or SDI Health market research data.
* Analytical or market research experience.
