Market Research Analyst Job in Seattle 98119, Washington Us

Use your Market Research experience to manage primary and secondary research projects for our rapidly growing online company. We are seeking a high-energy, strategic thinker who is able to work easily and effectively in both autonomous and team environments. You must be able to establish and maintain positive collaborative relationships and communication with all levels of the organization.

 

The Market Research Analyst will have the overall responsibility of performing research and quantitative analysis to provide reliable intelligence, data interpretation and reports to meet business unit needs and company objectives.


Responsibilities:

·         Lead market research efforts, including external vendor management.

·         Manage market and competitive intelligence projects, support strategic planning and business case development.

·         Develop actionable analysis and recommendations based on research and analysis.

·         Identify and recommend new business opportunities, as a result of insights derived from analyses.

·         Identify trends in market place and articulate implications.

·         Maintain and actively update a centralized, accessible library of all research and intelligence.

·         Effectively communicate all findings, recommendations, and opportunities to appropriate teams.

 

Qualifications:

·         Knowledge of basic computer operations and office software

·         3-5 years of experience in market research and working knowledge of primary and secondary research techniques.

·         Hands on experience using market research tools, using survey design/programming software, and working directly with research firms.

·         Qualified candidates will have market research experience conducting online offline surveys, competitive intelligence, perception/awareness studies, online searches, and market trends analysis.

·         Project management principles and practices

·         Experience using tools from eMarketer, Comscore, and Foresee.

·         Experience conducting usability studies and focus groups.

·         Experience working with eMarketer, Comscore, Forsee, Hitwise, uSamp, Authentic Response, Gilmore Research Group.

·         Experience using DatStat Illume survey design/programming software
