Group Risk is an independent function responsible for ensuring there is an appropriate risk governance framework on a Group wide and divisional basis, and that day-to-day risks are managed effectively within this framework. The management of risk is a fundamental activity which underpins the Group's reputation, performance and future success. Our specialist teams are; Credit Risk, Market and Insurance Risk, Regulatory and Operational Risk, and Risk Infrastructure and Analytics.
Market Risk identifies, measures, monitors, analyses and reports the market risk generated by the various businesses on an independent, timely and consistent basis. This allows the alignment of the market risk taken with the risk appetite articulated by the Executive Risk Forum.
This is a high profile Market Risk Capital Reporting Manager role, to support the Head of Group Market Risk Reporting Analysis develop and enhance the market risk capital framework, ensuring that the decisions made are commercially sensitive, supporting the Group's strategic objectives, whilst offering appropriate challenges at all levels of the business.
As Market Risk Capital Reporting Manager, you'll be familiar with market risk models and rules, and have experience reviewing scenarios, deals and structured transactions from a regulatory capital perspective. Additionally, you'll have a strong working knowledge of market risk management techniques, systems and processes and the ability to analyse and understand material changes to the Group's risk and capital exposures.
