Market Risk Manager
An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a strong Market Risk Manager, to join the ranks of an award winning Retail Bank based in the city.
Reporting directly into the Director of Market and Liquidity risk, the chosen Market Risk Manager will be responsible for running the Market risk function in its entirety with responsibility for developing, implementing and maintaining the strategy for market risk management as well as full liability management of the banking book.
As a manager with a proven track record, you will be expected to provide quality complex output and advice and will act as the main market risk functional specialist, providing tailored guidance to stakeholders where required.
You will drive systems and process changes and work directly with the business to ensure a sound understanding of business strategy and associated risks.
The ideal candidate will have A strong track record in a Retail banking environment and will be able to communicate complex technical ideas to a diverse audience. You will be knowledgeable in the field of market risk and treasury practices and will have appropriate hands on risk measurement and stress testing experience.
More importantly you will embrace a strong culture of accountability, empowerment and proactive contribution.
