Market Risk Manager (Metals) recruitment
THE COMPANY:
Our client is the commodities division of an international banking Group. They are currently looking to hire an experienced commodities market risk professional for their established team.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the traders to ensure accurate and timely entry and maintenance of precious and base metal trades.
- Assess and explain VaR reports.
- Liaise with other departments and offices to ensure compliance and accuracy at all stages of a deal.
- Ad-hoc reports or analytical work for traders and management.
- Provide cover for risk managers on other desks.
- Assist in the development of new and existing systems and reports.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Practical market risk experience.
- Commodities knowledge is essential.
- Knowledge of precious and base metals is desirable.
